DUNE and LBNF have settled on a set of software tools to allow everyone to collaborate in a standardized and documented way. We would say “to collaborate easily,” but of course what you find easy is what you know, right? So, yes, we all need to stretch a little bit, compromise a little bit, and be happy if we find some of our favorite tools in the mix!
Eileen Berman, Computing Coordinator, has put together an overview page of the set of collaborative tools that the collaboration and projects use. It is available in the at Work websites for both DUNE and LBNF under Collaborative Tools and Resources.
When you want to know how to:
- access internal documents in DocDB,
- find the GitHub or Redmine repositories for DUNE,
- find some good images to use in a talk,
- use the right logo or template,
- get on a mailing list,
- find DUNE meetings in Indico,
- connect with CERN’s Neutrino Platform
- use ReadyTalk,
- look at risks in the Risk Register, or
- share in-progress documents with colleagues,
first go to Overview of DUNE’s and LBNF’s Collaborative Tools. If you still have questions, feel free to email dune-communication@fnal.gov.
